Extensive Screening & Interviewing
- Minimum of 2 years prior home care experience.
- Fingerprint background check by the Dept. of Health.
- Verification of HHA Certification by the Dept. of Health.
- Extensive Personality Assessment via multi-step interview process.
Ongoing Training
- All Caregivers receive 12 hours of training annually, including:
- 3 hours of Alzheimer’s, dementia, and cognitive training.
- 3 hours of Fall Prevention training.
Ongoing Supervision
- RN orientation to each new Plan of Care.
- RN supervision via regular in home visits.
- Day-to-day supervision by a dedicated Care Coordinator.
TYPES OF CARE
At STEPS Home Care we offer a range of Concierge services that vary according to the level of care and the amount of time you need the Caregiver on a weekly basis.
Companion Care
Companions provide valuable services prior to the need for more hands-on home care.
Licensed Home Care
Certified Home Health Aides provide hands-on care to help with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Skilled Nursing
LPNs and RNs administer medical care, including wound care, medication management, etc.
FREE ASSESSMENT
An Executive and a RN will come to come to your home or facility to learn as much as possible about you, or your loved one, the home care issues, and the qualities of a Caregiver you seek. The Assessment includes:
- Medical & Medication Profile
- Personality Profile
- Nutrition Analysis
- Home Safety Inspection
