LEADERS

STEPS Home Care is a White Plains-based, family run organization whose founders are passionate about helping seniors to stay safe and comfortable at home while maintaining their independence.   Our philosophy is a result of caring for our own families, seeing the good and bad aspects of home care, and deciding to do it the right way.

Our philosophy is a result of witnessing first hand the good and bad aspects of home care. We decided to change the common approach to home care, and do it the right way.

“STEPS Home Care was recommended to me after a difficult period using a different agency for Home Health Aides to care for my ailing father. Our family was at a point where we were considering the need to move him to a facility because the Home Aides we had been using could not care for him properly. From my first phone call to Shan Wade it was clear that I had found a professional and well-run agency that genuinely made an effort to understand our situation and find us the help that we needed.

Every Aide that they sent us was well trained and took excellent care of my father. The office was able to handle all questions and administrative details with ease and made a difficult situation much easier for all of us. My father received excellent care up until his passing and it was the help and care we received from STEPS that enabled us to keep him at home until the end. Having a good point of comparison to other agencies we had used, I recommend them without hesitation.”
